2013 Chevrolet Malibu Fuel Economy Revealed by EPA


As part of increasing the fuel economy of Chevy’s fleet, The 2013 Chevy Malibu Eco get to join the club.  And here’s the latest fuel economy figures for the Chevy Malibu, which can be found here at Hudiburg Chevy.

Of course, the main reason for the driving fuel efficiency is an electric motor.  The EPA reviewed the vehicle and analyzed the data and has released its official findings.  Here’s they are: 25 mpg / city and 37 mpg / highway.  The 15 hp (horsepower) electric motor, can be credited in part for those very impressive numbers.  This is achieved primarily through highway driving.

The gasoline and electric combo gives the 2013 ChevroletMalibu Eco the efficiency of a four-cylinder, but the power and feel of a V6 engine.
