Chevy is calling the Colorado a “global product” mainly due to the way the truck was developed. Concept shots from Thailand, South American design center input, etc. all contributed to this moniker. Options, Specs and Beyond. First, imagine twenty six body, trim, power train and option configurations for the 2013 Chevy Colorado. Add it all the optional features and you start to get a picture of how versatile they wanted this one to be. The body will be available in three cab sizes and three trims levels (LS, LT and LTZ.) Of course there will be stability control, traction control, ABS (brakes) and front airbags – all standard. Look for this one to be a strong contender for truck of the year in its category.
Inside, the redesigned Colorado truck houses a Camaro-like LED backlit gauge scheme, and though unconfirmed features like USB and auxiliary inputs are likely standard. To bring the gleaming interior together chrome accents and a dual-cowl dashboard were implemented (courtesy of the Thai design team).
