Usually, when a vehicle boasts "safety," it's fair
to assume that the model is also rather tame. When it comes to the Chevrolet
Camaro however, this couldn't be farther from the truth. Until now the Camaro
has largely been known for its powerful ponies, quarter-mile times and overall
cunning edge. While this is still true, the upcoming variant has received an
additional description as the first vehicle to earn a perfect safety testing
score by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
Surprised? We aren't. Though "safe" may be the
last attribute you'd think to attach to a Camaro, Hudiburg Chevrolet has seen
what Chevrolet is capable of. The fact that the automaker can create something
that's both smoldering and safe isn't shocking.
Now, before we get ahead of ourselves, let us give credit
where credit is due. Fourteen other vehicles also received a 5-Star Safety
Rating from NHTSA for 2011. But the difference between these models and the
2012 Chevrolet Camaro is rather significant. Out of those tested, the Camaro isthe first to score a perfect rating across all six categories: frontal barrier
crash for driver, frontal barrier crash for passenger, side crash for driver,
side crash for passenger, rollover and overall.
Of course, Hudiburg Chevrolet would be willing to put any
new Chevrolet model to the test. That's because we have so much faith in the
automaker's dedication and precision. To experience a Chevrolet Camaro or any
other vehicle for yourself, don't hesitate to contact us online or call us at
