This is the most prestigious event on the circuit. It takes place in Indianapolis, at Lucas Oil Raceway, and is traditionally held over Labor Day weekend each year. This iconic race will 'define' the winner's career--and winners of past races include greats like Don Garlits, Bob Glidden and even Tony Schumacher, driver of the U.S. Army Top Fuel dragster, who has won the event nine out of the last thirteen years.
The race is the final event in an eighteen-event season, truly topping the season off. Enthusiasts can watch eleven hours of race coverage that weekend on ESPN2.
