GM has responded to Ford's Boss with the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro SS coupe 1LE performance package. 1LE may not roll off the toncgue as easily as Boss 302, however, the 1LE's 6.2 liter LS3 V8 pushes out 426 horespower and 420 foot-pounds of torque. Also, because of it's performance orientation, high capacity fuel pumps have been added, the Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission has a 3.91 final drive ratio and has the same air to liquid cooling system as the ZL1. In addition the short-throw shifter from the ZL1 has been fitted, and do not even think about an automatic transmission, Chevy doesn't sell a six-speed automatic 1LE.
